From Indonesia to countries around the world, with better marine products

As a trading company specializing in marine products, Daishin Fishery Co., Ltd. develops, produces, and delivers marine products such as flying fish roe from Indonesia, a maritime nation with abundant marine resources, to countries around the world.
The development of Daishin Fishery’s marine products in Indonesia began with the purchase of skipjack and tuna off Timor Island in the southern part of the country, which led to the training of local human resources and expanded investments. Today, we handle exports of marine product raw materials such as flying fish roe, frozen flying fish, and dried grilled flying fish from Makassar, Sulawesi.
Initially, the goal of the business was exports to Japan, but as Japanese food culture spreads around the world, demand has been increasing in China and Taiwan as well as countries such as Thailand and South Korea, and exports from Indonesia to these Asian countries are showing steady growth.
From Indonesia, to countries around the world. As a trading company specializing in marine products, Daishin Fishery will continue to fulfill its mission as a supplier to support and develop a rich food culture through safe quality and stable supply.

We contribute to the local economy and community through business

We contribute to the local economy and community through business

Since its founding, Daishin Fishery has been involved in business on-site in Indonesia to export marine product raw materials. The fishery factory site is located in what is considered to be a “remote area” despite being in central Indonesia, so it had previously been difficult for a major industry to grow there. In doing business, Daishin Fishery has been working together with the local community to create local employment and promote industry in order to contribute to economic development.
Fortunately, there are no conflicts between the nations of Japan and Indonesia, and the local people are also very friendly to Japanese companies. We believe in contributing to the local community and advancing its development while making use of this relationship, not only from the perspective of the fisheries business, but also to contribute to the development of relations between our countries.
Indonesia is a maritime nation, and it is similar to Japan in some respects, such as its food culture and seafaring culture. Taking advantage of these characteristics of Indonesia, our manning business also contributes to promoting local employment and economic revitalization.
We have been able to establish name recognition and a definite brand image for Daishin Fishery in Indonesia through the trust and achievements we have built up so far. These strengths are being put to good use in developing local marine resources and securing talented seafarers.

We are expanding our network through multilateral trade as a trading company specializing in marine products

We are expanding our network through multilateral trade as a trading company specializing in marine products

As an effect of Japan’s food culture expanding overseas, marine product needs are increasing around the world. Our marine products business was initially for Japan, but now China and Taiwan as well as Asian countries such as Thailand have also become important export destinations. In light of the current growth in trilateral trade between Japan and Indonesia and from Indonesia to demand areas, we hope to continue to expand this multilateral network.
Even though a business that connects countries is often affected by political conflicts and regulations between the countries involved, by making full use of the know-how and human networks that Daishin Fishery has accumulated through our business over the years, we are steadily developing our sales channels. Our greatest mission is to deliver better marine products to everyone who needs them. We will continue to devote our efforts to fulfilling this mission.
